Shelley’s home town is Hamilton, Ontario where her interest in art, and particularly painting, first emerged. She now resides in Woodstock, Ontario where she creates acrylic and watercolour paintings in her home studio. 

In Shelley's process of creation she invents images based on experiences and observations, resulting in imaginative but believable compositions that exude pure colour and pattern.  In Shelley’s words, “If my vivid paintings stir your imagination, bring pleasure to your eye, and add flair to your walls then I have accomplished my goal.

Shelley is pleased with the success of Quiet Crescent Art, and that her paintings are finding their way into private collections in homes and offices. The fact that people are enjoying her work is truly rewarding.

Shelley is now offering a number of original watercolour and acrylic paintings in limited edition giclée prints.  Each print is signed by Shelley and numbered 1 through 25.  They are available framed or unframed.  Unframed prints have been matted, mounted on foamboard, and placed in a sealed clear plastic envelope for protection.  Framed prints are matted, mounted on foamboard, under glass and finished with a black metal frame.
